The IMA-1 module provides for a simple and direct connection of decentral digital inputs and outputs to SYSTEM-90E
via the InterBus fieldbus system. |
| As the arrangement of the I/O modules determines the topology of the
InterBus, the fieldbus master is capable of determining this topology independently.
This feature enables SYSTEM-90E to adopt the fieldbus topology in an autolearning process,
resulting in a considerable reduction of the project planning effort. |
