The IBS-3 module is employed for coupling SYSTEM-90E to the InterBus fieldbus system
via the 2-wire remote bus. It serves to create decentral installation topologies in conjunction
with numerical axes. |
| SYSTEM-90E’s inherent intelligence and its modularity enable the remote control of the
complex motion paths made by several axes, thus significantly reducing the load imposed on the stored
program control (SPC) and the fieldbus. |
