Fast pulse counters
DIO-6-A is a DIO-6 variant further including two 24-bit pulse counters for sensing fast
pulse trains with a frequency of up to 1 kHz. |
|

High-precision position detection
DIO-6-B is a DIO-6 variant further including two channels for fast, high-precision
detection of axis positions by means of light strobes or touch probes.
Position detection is performed with a 20-µs accuracy which equals an 20-µm
accuracy at a speed of 1 m/sec. |
